Well, hello! New here, and I am really angry... and disappointed

Why does new users' posts have to be approved by a moderator? And why aren't my posts approved yet?? It's really annoying, as I want to help people, and this stupid (sorry about that, but I am really irritated) new user thing?

jumping into a thread that is 3 years old and posting to it is probably why your post was marked as spam. Generally if a post your about to reply to is more than a few months old you should start a new post.

Im sorry for your frustration, i understand it can be quite annoying. however you should be out of that loop in no time.

The problem at large is that the amount of spam we had before was overwhelming and made the forum almost unusable, hence we took this rather aggressive measure to counter it. So far ive gotten some complaints, but not enough to make me reconsider.

I might however consider adding PM's to new users, but understand what kind of mess spambots would make if they went the on route. Ill have to think about that one.
